Echelon's day-to-day operations are managed by NFLPA-certified president and contract consultant Kenneth (KJ) Lee Joshen, Jr. Joshen is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In the past ten (10) years, Joshen has acquired an exclusive skill set, acquired in the halls of the academy and on the playing field. He holds a doctorate in law from the Concord Law School and a bachelor of science from Coastal Carolina University in Recreation and Sports Management. Joshen won a Division I scholarship and played football in Coastal Carolina. KJ is fluent in Portuguese. This allows him to conduct Echelon's business in Brazil perfectly.

After graduating from Coastal Carolina, Joshen received an invitation to participate in the 2012 NFL Regional Combine at the Atlanta Falcons facilities. After suffering an injury that changed his career, Joshen made the transition to play Defensive Back and Special Teams at the Cincinnati Commandos Arena Football (Continental Indoor Football League) in Cincinnati, Ohio, from February to June 2010. He played a key role in 14-1 of the season's record team and its subsequent 2010 CIFL Championship. During the 2011 season, Joshen played with former NY Giants quarterback in the Super Bowl, Jared Lorenzen, at the Northern Kentucky Rivermonsters of the UIFL (United Indoor Football League).

In 2011, Joshen moved to Brazil, where he resided for the next seven (7) years. He was a player and coach of the team Cuiabá Arsenal de Futebol Americano, Cuiabá, MT- Brazil from July 2011 to January 2018. He served as Defense Coordinator and Coach of special teams of the team from 2011 to 2015; while continuing his athletic career as the titular Security and Back Runner team. From 2015 to 2018, Joshen served as head coach, defensive coordinator and as a regular player of the squad. Joshen's knowledge of football propelled Arsenal de Cuiabá to the 2012 Brazilian Championship and to the Brazilian National Football Semifinals in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2017, Joshen was awarded the defensive and technical back of the year Midwest Region Awards. During the 2016 season, KJ is Echelon's point of contact for contract negotiations and management of NFL and CFL players. He is responsible for preparing players for the day of the draft. KJ manages the practical aspect of draft preparation and oversees all training outside the season. The early stage of an NFL athlete's career is critical and KJ is with them every step of the way.

From identifying the best training partner (s) and selecting those positioned to best meet the needs of each individual athlete, to marketing players to professional teams, sponsors and other related audiences, personal commitment to Joshen with each Echelon athlete is clearly visible.
